Scott Schaefer – North America
Mr. Schaefer is the Response Consultant based in the United States for ASI Global, LLC. He acts as the primary case officer for all cases throughout the North American region. |

Experience:
A retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Operations Officer and Lieutenant Colonel , United States Marine Corps Reserve, Mr. Schaefer has over 40 years of experience in intelligence, security, counter-terrorism and investigations.
During Vietnam , he led both conventional and special operations forces and, during the first Gulf War, served as a Senior Operations Officer on the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Crisis Response Team.
After his service in Vietnam , Mr. Schaefer spent 23 years in the intelligence community, serving in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean .
Since his retirement, Mr. Schaefer has managed kidnap-for-ransom cases, lead surveillance and protective services teams, developed emergency management response programs, and taught courses in anti-kidnapping and hostage survival techniques. |

Mr. Schaefer holds a BA in History from Greensboro College, an MA in Business Management from Central Michigan University, and is a graduate of the National Defense University. |
