Felix Batista – Latin America
Mr. Batista is the Response Consultant based in the United States for ASI Global, LLC. He acts as the primary case officer for all cases throughout the Latin American region. |

Experience:
Mr. Batista has a strong background in international security and crisis management with twenty-four years as a consultant to multinational firms operating in Latin America and Europe, and prior service as an intelligence and combat arms officer in the U.S. Army (Major, USAR).
Mr. Batista is known for conducting in-depth threat assessments, the successful resolution of nearly 100 kidnap and ransom cases (many on behalf of major insurance carriers) and investigations and case management of product contamination and bodily injury extortions in the United States and throughout Latin America. Additionally, Mr. Batista has conducted complex financial investigations, assessment of executive protection programs and training of executives, their families and security personnel in high threat environments. He also has experience designing physical security/loss prevention programs at over 180 major manufacturing, telecommunications and commercial facilities, and financial institutions. |

Education:
Mr. Batista received his Bachelor's Degree in North American Studies/Political-Science and his Master's degree in Spanish Literature/Latin American Studies from Middlebury College and the Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain. He also spent a year in Central and South America conducting independent field research on social, economic and political issues as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow (founder of IBM). |
