Kidnap & Ransom Response

ASI Global possesses one of the most highly qualified and experienced Response Consultant teams in the industry. With a combined 80 years of kidnap consulting experience and successful resolution of more than 300 cases, the team’s breadth of experience worldwide and portfolio of skills is unsurpassed.

ASI Global, LLC has been retained exclusively by Travelers Insurance to provide emergency response services to its insured clients on a world-wide basis, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year. The combined efforts and resources of these established, world class companies provide an unrivaled combination of expertise, depth of capability, experience and value.

Clients of Travelers Insurance receive assistance by telephone as well as in-person support at the client’s location by a qualified response consultant. Our goal is to have our response consultant arrive no later than 24 hours after notification to our Emergency Operations Center. However, response time may vary depending on the country and region thereof.

ASI Global is able to respond on behalf of private clients and non-insured events but further coordination and contractual arrangements may be required before deployment of response consultants. Call for information.

To ensure that all clients of ASI Global are afforded the highest standard of service, regardless of insurance status, we have assembled a multidisciplinary team of staff to support and manage response events. This staff includes various subject matter experts, Regional Specialists, Intelligence Analysts and Crisis Coordinators who are dedicated to supporting the deployed consultant wherever they operate throughout the world.

Insured Response

ASI Global is the exclusively retained response provider for Travelers Insurance. As part of this relationship, the ASI Global team of response consultants is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to respond to all insured events.

The fact that ASI Global consultants are regionally located allows ASI Global to respond quickly to events as opposed to some consultancies that domicile their response consultants in one centralized location. Once ASI Global has been contacted by an insured client, the client will receive immediate telephonic advice to assist them. Following notification, the ASI Global Team Leader or a senior consultant will contact the client and maintain advice and counsel while the ASI Global support team resources the closest consultant and arranges their deployment. While the deployed consultant is traveling to the location of the victim’s family or corporation, the ASI Global Case Manager will stay in constant contact with the victim’s family and/or corporation, providing telephonic advice until the deployed consultant arrives.

Upon arrival, the consultant will work with the Crisis Management Team to develop the appropriate response strategy and create a plan to achieve the objectives of the strategy. ASI Global will then maintain a response consultant with the Crisis Management Team until resolution of the case.

Uninsured Response

ASI Global Kidnap & Ransom Response provides response services for uninsured events on a contractual basis. ASI Global maintains regionally located consultants around the world, allowing ASI Global the ability to respond quickly, placing a highly qualified response consultant by the client’s side within 24 hours of ASI Global being notified of the event.

Once ASI Global has been contacted by an uninsured client, the client will receive immediate telephonic advice to assist them. At this time ASI Global will also send a contract to the client for review, providing the client with a detailed scope of work and cost of services. Once the contract has been signed and returned, the ASI Global Team Leader or a senior consultant will contact the client and maintain advice and counsel while the ASI Global support team resources and deploys the closest response consultant.

Upon arrival, the consultant will work with the Crisis Management Team to develop the appropriate response strategy and create a plan to achieve the objectives of the strategy. ASI Global will then maintain a response consultant with the Crisis Management Team until resolution of the case.
